Job Description

Description The Intern, Relocation Coordination, as a part of the Workplace Solutions team, is responsible for supporting the planning and delivering of tenant improvements and/or facility moves, adds, or change (MAC) projects. You will work with internal BGIS staff, client, and external vendors as required, to ensure timely, successful implementation of requests. In this role, success is driven by your ability to be organized and customer focused. Contract Date: May - August 2026 Location : Downtown Toronto Work Arrangement: on-site Work Hours: evenings and possibly weekends KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Engages and communicates with clientswith a focus on professionalism, urgency and transparency Prepares documentation and tracking of box retrievals, and working with Leads to update weekly reports Booking, meeting and greeting client staff to arrive and retrieve personal and department files and content Working with client staff and movers to find and move items in coordination with different team members Develops and maintains effective relationships with clients. Partner senior team members to assist with planning and completing basic move activities and inventories as required. Other duties as assigned Who are you? College Diploma or equivalent training Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to learn and use new technology (tools and applications) Self-starter with strong organizational skills as well as ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously Strong customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing skills and client communication This is a full-time, contract position with a salary range of $19 - $23 per hour. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate''s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
