Chick-fil-A opened its first Canadian restaurant in 2019. Chick-fil-A was officially founded in 1967 by S. Truett Cathy. He made the decision to close on Sundays in 1946 when he opened his first restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia. Having worked seven days a week in restaurants open 24 hours, Truett saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and his employees could set aside one day to rest and worship if they choose a practice we uphold today. Job ResponsibilitiesJob responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following: Represent, promote & maintain Chick-fil-A Meadows Vision, Mission, Culture & Core Values of Chick-fil-A Meadows in all interactions with guests, team members, and vendors. Uphold the Core 4 principles: Create eye contact, share a smile, speak in a friendly tone, & say ''My pleasure'' when interacting with guests and vendors Provide friendly and efficient service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts Ensure exceptional guest service by leading and motivating the team to exceed guest expectations Train and develop team members in accordance with company guidelines to ensure high-quality service and product knowledge Perform opening and closing duties Perform regular inventory checks and assist with ordering supplies as needed Consistently implement components of our ''Winning Hearts Everyday'' strategy to ensure we create memorable experiences. Follow all training standards specific to the Pathway Program and maintain consistency in operations. Ensure the First & Second Mile and Recovery Models are consistently maintained in all guest interactions. Demonstrate strong personal characteristics such as humility, a willingness to collaborate, and a desire to learn. Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership to support business needs.
