The Opportunity We''re looking for a vibrant, experiences and reliable HCA to join our GHC family in Calgary. If you have a heart for caregiving and experience in personal care and memory care, this role could be your perfect fit. Responsibilities Your duties may include, but are not limited to: Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Outings (must have proof of appropriate vehicle insurance) Providing memory care support (essential) Support around the home Engage in conversation and activities throughout the day Offering companionship Preparing meals and snacks Light housekeeping What We''re Looking For To join the GHC team, you must: Be respectful, reliable, and experienced in caregiving. Understand and adhere to all GHC safety protocols and procedures. Build trust and rapport with client and family Maintain diligent reporting to GHC Management and family. Requirements Certification as a Health Care Aide in Alberta: required Registration on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory: required Current Police Clearance with a Vulnerable Sector Check (within three months of application). required Valid First Aid and CPR certification. required Driver''s license and access to a vehicle. required A compassionate approach and commitment to care.
