This Marketing & Events position plays a key role in bringing that mission to life, bridging the gap between the field and the community. Position Purpose: Support the execution of Hopcott Farms'' marketing and on-site events, with a strong focus on content creation, storytelling, and audience engagement. This in-person role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career (or transitioning into marketing) who enjoys hands-on creative work while developing foundational analytical skills. As the business grows, there is opportunity for the role to expand in scope and hours. The Marketing & Events Coordinators Responsibilities Include: Marketing & Content Support Manage and maintain social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, while actively engaging with online audiences by responding to comments, messages, and reviews. Plan, schedule, and execute content calendars. Write engaging captions and provide light copywriting support. Create and edit visual content, including basic graphics, photos, and videos, for social media posts, stories, and promotions. Engage with online audiences by responding to comments, messages, and reviews. Help maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms. Website, Email & Marketing Support Update website content including weekly specials, promotions, blog posts, and seasonal updates. Organize and maintain customer data lists. Build, update, and format email templates. Assist with the execution of email marketing campaigns. Support the delivery of the annual marketing plan by helping translate strategy into actionable initiatives. Events & On-Site Support Capture photo and video content during events based on a content plan. Provide additional on-site event production support, including assisting with cranberry tour operations. Tools & Platforms Canva and/or Adobe (basic design and editing) CapCut or similar video editing tools WordPress / Elementor Mailchimp Microsoft Suite (especially Excel) Social Platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn Skills & Qualifications Creative & Communication Strengths Enjoys photo and video creation/editing. Comfortable writing captions and short form copy. Has an eye for visual storytelling and branding. Comfortable being on camera and behind the camera. Personal Attributes Strong interest in pursuing a career in marketing. Passionate about storytelling and sharing the farm''s story. Active, confident, and comfortable using social media platforms. Friendly and professional when engaging with customers both online and in person. Organized, reliable, and eager to learn new tools and systems.
