Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional nutritional care within a healthcare or assisted living setting. This role involves assisting with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, kitchen operations, and customer service, ensuring residents or patients receive nutritious and appealing meals in a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and food service for residents or patients, ensuring timely delivery of nutritious meals Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean kitchen environment Serve meals with professionalism and courtesy, attending to residents'' or patients'' dietary needs and preferences Help with cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold sanitation standards Support the kitchen team in maintaining organized storage of food supplies and ingredients Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Ensure compliance with health regulations and facility policies at all times Provide excellent customer service by engaging positively with residents or patients during meal times Experience Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry settings is preferred Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices is highly desirable Experience with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen operations is beneficial Strong time management skills to handle meal schedules efficiently Background in serving or customer service roles within healthcare or hospitality environments is a plus Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the well-being of residents or patients through nutritious meal service.
