Crew Eatery Mississauga, ON About Us: Crew Eatery is a busy, long-standing restaurant serving breakfast, sandwiches, grill items, plates, soups, and salads. We make the majority of our food in-house. This is a hands-on kitchen with real prep and real cooking not a reheat-only operation. Position Overview: We are hiring an experienced Cook / Line Cook who is comfortable with daily prep, from-scratch cooking, and working a busy service. This role requires strong kitchen fundamentals and the ability to move between prep and line cooking as needed. Key Responsibilities: Cook and assemble menu items made largely from scratch Complete daily prep including cutting, marinating, cooking, and portioning Prepare soups, sauces, rice, proteins, and salad components in-house Execute service efficiently during busy periods Follow recipes, prep lists, portion control, and plating standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation Support overall kitchen flow, restocking, and organization Qualifications (Mandatory): Previous hands-on kitchen experience is required (restaurant, diner, caf, or similar) Comfortable with high-volume cooking and consistent prep work Solid knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to work on your feet for long periods and handle repetitive tasks Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work as part of a team This role is best suited for someone who enjoys real cooking, steady prep, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
