Are you ready to join the exciting team at Pilot Diamond Tools? Pilot Diamond Tools manufactures drilling tools that are known for their durability and reliability in the mining industry. We are now looking to add a reliable skilled labourer to our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of manufacturing tasks. It will be your job to ensure that those tasks are completed as efficiently and effectively as possible. Reports To Production Supervisor Summary The Skilled Labourer will be required to perform tasks involving physical labour and will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools/equipment to assemble a variety of products manufactured on site. The Skilled Labourer will be responsible for the efficient production of products according to established procedures, blueprints and follow all safety protocols and workplace policies. Job Duties Fasten parts and components together using hand and power tools and equipment. Position and install parts, subassemblies, and accessories using hand and power tools. Clean and perform preparation of the work area. Grind, chip, sandblast, or polish surfaces using abrasive tools or machines. Load, unload, and identify materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations. of machined parts using precision measuring instruments. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma (required); post-secondary diploma or trades certificate preferred. Experience in a shop or manufacturing environment. Ability to read blueprints and take measurements of parts. Experience operating hand and power tools, bench grinders, and sandblasters. Commitment to quality and safety in a manufacturing environment. Ability to follow instructions from shop supervisors to complete tasks on time. Demonstrates the ability to move quickly and efficiently in varied work environments, adapting to different physical requirements. Pre-employment medical assessment will be required. Work Conditions Ability to regularly lift to 50 lbs. Work conditions that include heat/cold, humidity, and exposure to dust. Standing for extended periods of time. Aware of hazards associated with the manufacturing industry. Hours of Work Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts. Ability to work overtime as requested. Job Type Full-time Why Join Us?
