Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) Job Summary The Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) provides evidence-based massage therapy treatments to patients within a multidisciplinary medical center. The RMT works collaboratively with physicians and allied health professionals to support patient rehabilitation, pain management, injury prevention, and overall wellness. Key Responsibilities Assess patients by reviewing medical history, physician referrals, and conducting physical evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals Provide therapeutic massage treatments, including but not limited to: Deep tissue massage Myofascial release Trigger point therapy Relaxation and therapeutic massage Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient documentation in accordance with medical and regulatory standards Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress and care plans Educate patients on self-care, posture, stretching, and injury prevention Adhere to all infection control, safety, and clinical policies of the medical center Maintain a clean, professional, and safe treatment environment Uphold ethical standards and scope of practice as defined by the regulatory body Qualifications & Requirements Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy program Current registration/licensure in good standing with the applicable regulatory college or board Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions Experience in a medical or multidisciplinary clinic is an asset Skills & Competencies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach Time management and organizational skills Work Environment Medical or multidisciplinary healthcare setting May involve standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks Flexible scheduling may be available (full-time, part-time, or contract-based) Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Access to established patient base and referrals Administrative and clinical support Continuing education opportunities (if applicable) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour Work Location: In person
