The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy-duty fabrics and marine-grade materials, and be comfortable operating industrial sewing machines. Summary of Experience Proven experience as a sewing machine operator, preferably in marine industry. Strong understanding of industrial sewing techniques and materials. Qualifications Ability to read blueprints, drawings, or patterns. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; use both hands to finger, feel or handle objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands or arms. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Schedule Monday to Friday. Job Duties Thread machine, change needles, and adjust tension as required. Use and understand basic measurements. Perform sewing functions by following supervisor''s directions. Sewing tasks must be done in a precise and timely manner. Meet company quality and production standards. Maintain work area, clean and orderly.
