You''ll drive our ARR in 2026, with a clear path to Chief Revenue Officer as we scale. This is a true player-coach role: 75% hands-on revenue generation (lead gen, demos, closing) and 25% strategic leadership (building systems, hiring your team, partnering with the CEO on enterprise deals). You''ll have ownership to build the revenue function. WHY MOTION MEETINGS Product-Market Fit Proven: over 60 customers, a 65% qualified close rate, and an endorsement from Canada''s largest union Massive Addressable Market: $950M serviceable market in unions, credit unions, pension funds, political organizations Mission That Matters: Strengthen democracy, amplify members'' voices, help organizations engage better Clear CRO Path: Build the function, hire your team, grow into executive leadership WHAT YOU''LL DO Build Pipeline (40% time) Generate 50-75 qualified leads per month through events, content, partnerships, and direct outreach Maintain 3X pipeline coverage ($1-3M+ quarterly pipeline by year-end) Establish 2-3 new lead sources per quarter (union partnerships, association events, thought leadership) Close Deals (35% time) 2026 Target: 255 new customers Run full sales cycle: demos, proposals, negotiations, closing Achieve 50-65% win rate on qualified opportunities Grow average deal size from 7x by year-end Scale & Lead (25% time) Partner with CEO on 5-8 enterprise deals Build sales playbook and documentation (Q2 2026) Recruit and onboard first 2 Account Executives (Q3-Q4 2026) Activate partner channels for recurring monthly revenue WHAT YOU BRING 5-7 years+ B2B SaaS sales experience in early or growth-stage companies Proven track record: Consistently meeting/exceeding $500K+ annual quota Full-cycle seller: Comfortable prospecting, demoing, negotiating, and closing Lead generation experience: Direct outreach, events, content campaigns, partnerships HubSpot or similar CRM expertise: Pipeline management, forecasting, reporting Analytical mindset: Track CAC, LTV, conversion rates, forecast with 90%+ accuracy Drive and hunger: you love to win and be rewarded for doing so Bonus points: Experience selling to unions, associations, or mission-driven organizations | Partner/channel sales | First revenue hire at an early-stage company WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE You''re naturally energized by people and relationships.
