About Us: Superb Group is seeking a full-time Mechanic Assistant to support the maintenance and repair of landscaping, construction, and snow removal equipment. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical interest or early experience who wants to grow their skills while working alongside experienced mechanics. The Mechanic Assistant will help ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently, reducing downtime and supporting smooth field operations year-round. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Support Assist with routine maintenance and inspections on various equipment, including lawn mowers, snow blowers, tractors, skid-steers, and plow attachments. Help check and replace fluids, filters, belts, blades, and other basic components. Support greasing, lubricating, and cleaning of parts to maintain equipment longevity. Repair Support Assist in diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues under the supervision of a lead mechanic. Help repair or replace basic components as directed. Aid in simple fabrication or welding tasks (if trained). Shop Operations Keep the shop workspace clean, organized, and safe. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring items are stored properly and in working condition. Support inventory trackingmonitoring parts, restocking supplies, and preparing parts for upcoming repairs. Assist in transporting equipment or parts as needed. Documentation & Safety Help record maintenance tasks, parts used, and repair notes. Follow all safety procedures while working on or around equipment. Participate in safety training and maintain safe working habits at all times. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Mechanical interest or basic experience working with tools and equipment (professional or personal). Willingness to learn and take direction from senior mechanics. Basic understanding of mechanical systems is an asset but not required. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Reliable, organized, and safety-focused work habits. Ability to lift and handle equipment and parts as required. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team. Valid driver''s license.
