Its business focus is on acquisition & upgrading of residential properties and managing its own portfolio of over 18,000 residential apartments in five major cities across Canada Key Duties and Responsibilities Install and maintain wiring and lighting system, troubleshoot electrical problems in suites Read and interpret drawings, technical diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations Inspect electrical components, repair and replace faulty equipment Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repair Repair or replace wiring or fixtures using hand tools and power tools Requirements Must possess valid journeyman electrician ticket Must have 3-4 years working experience Prior experience in a residential multi-family environment is an asset Working knowledge on building system based on provincial safety codes act Flexible to work normal work hours, on-call, weekends and any after-hours emergencies Must possess a valid driver''s license and have a reliable vehicle Possess own tools Must successfully complete a security clearance How to Apply Submit your cover letter and resumes online
