The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting salon operations, enhancing customer experiences, and contributing to the overall success of our salon. This position requires excellent communication skills, and a passion for genuine customer care. The right candidate should be kind, but firm, as tanning salons are required to abide by a number of regulations, which clients and secret shoppers will sometimes expect you to overlook. Duties Assist team with various tasks to ensure smooth salon operations. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing appointments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including service rooms and common areas. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Support retail sales by merchandising products effectively and conducting product demos. Upsell services and products to clients while ensuring their needs are met. Manage inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients. Experience in personal care service sales is a must. Proficiency in cash handling and cashiering procedures. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly salon environment. Knowledge of merchandising techniques to promote products effectively. Strong phone and email etiquette for handling client inquiries professionally. Ability to upsell services while maintaining a positive and genuine customer experience.
