We specialize in providing door and dock repair and installation services to the commercial and industrial sector. Due to our ongoing growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Door/Dock Technician. Job description REQUIREMENTS Minimum 1 year experience Ability to perform mechanical and electrical diagnostic/troubleshooting and repairs for overhead doors, docks and related systems Must be able to perform as a team player and have a good work ethic Good verbal and written English skills Ability to complete work orders and other documentation Must have a positive Customer Service approach and be detail oriented Must be able to work safely and follow Company and Client Protocols Ability to work at heights on ladders, scaffolding and lifts and be capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment Must have a Class G Drivers Licence with a clean driving record and be comfortable driving a service truck High school degree or equivalent QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Must be mechanically inclined and have knowledge and experience servicing and installing overhead doors (sectional, rolling steel, fire doors and high speed), dock systems and truck restraints Proficient in the use of hand and power tools Effective interpersonal skills with team members and clients Good time management and organizational skills Welding and torch skills preferred Working at Heights, WHMIS and suspended platform/forklift certificates an asset BENEFITS Competitive pay based on experience Comprehensive benefits program - medical, dental, extended health, disability and life coverage Ongoing training both internally and externally Opportunity for advancement and career development Paid overtime and vacation pay Bonuses Positive and supportive work environment with an open door to management Company provided uniform Free onsite parking Company cell phone Company events We reward hard work and dedication Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour Benefits: Company events Dental care Extended health care Vision care Work Location: In person
