Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Medical Network Strategy to ensure exceptional access to care, strengthen provider relationships, drive operational excellence, and deliver measurable value through cost containment and revenue optimization across Canada, the U.S., Latin America, and beyond. Manage and optimize provider networks to deliver high-quality, cost-effective healthcare solutions, including deploying Canadian networks for key accounts, overseeing provider contracting and compliance, and supporting global initiatives with the Group Network Team through cross-functional coordination, proactive engagement, and innovation. Responsibilities Network Management Responsibilities Canadian Provider Network Development: Deploy, optimize, and expand the Canadian network for key clients while negotiating and maintaining compliant provider contracts. Performance Monitoring & Quality Assurance: Monitor network performance, cost containment, and billing quality; execute Americas strategy and optimize usage, service quality, and engagement. Provider Engagement & Education: Strengthen provider relationships through engagement and education while managing escalations promptly. Global Collaboration & Expansion: Support LATAM and global network projects and provide strategic input for cross-border initiatives. Data Integrity & Compliance: Maintain accurate provider data, ensure credentialing compliance, and keep network tools updated. Cost Containment & Cost Optimization Responsibilities Implement Savings Strategies: Drive cost optimization through repricing across MSH International (Canada) portfolios, including PSHCP, TPA/Students, and Expat business. Analyze Billing Patterns: Review claims and provider billing trends to identify and act on cost-saving opportunities. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance and Claims teams to ensure strict adherence to cost-control measures. Contract Management: Lead negotiations and renewals, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and maximizing financial outcomes. Continuous Improvement: Develop and refine cost containment strategies while safeguarding service quality and direct billing standards. Strategic Support Responsibilities Alignment with Global Strategy: Align network initiatives with MSH Group Strategy and provide input on global projects, including digital transformation and innovation. Innovation & Digitalization: Implement innovative solutions, drive digitalization of provider processes, and continuously improve network tools for operational excellence. Network Development & Optimization: Build and expand networks, conduct studies for growth and cost efficiency, and implement strategies to maximize savings and revenue. Sales & Client Support: Partner with Sales and Client Management to deliver presentations and insights, supporting business development by showcasing network capabilities. Team & Operational Management Leadership & Supervision: Lead and supervise network staff, ensuring timely task execution and overseeing daily operations aligned with organizational goals. Workload & Performance Management: Assign projects based on skills, monitor KPIs for accountability, and conduct regular reviews to drive engagement and results. Coaching & Development: Identify training needs, provide coaching and mentorship, and ensure cross-training for operational continuity. Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead recruitment to secure top talent and oversee onboarding for effective integration and productivity. Qualifications and Education Requirements Experience 68 years in a comparable role, including 5+ years in medical network management within health insurance or assistance. Expertise Proven ability to build and manage medical networks in North America with strong knowledge of Canadian healthcare and US PPO structures. Technical Skills In-depth understanding of international provider contracting, cost containment strategies, and direct billing processes. Leadership Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coach staff, and foster cross-functional collaboration. Negotiation & Legal Acumen Strong negotiation skills with proficiency in contract terms and legal compliance.
