Role: Bilingual Private Caregiver (Polish/English) Location: [Insert City/Neighborhood] Schedule: Full-time (20 hours per week) Timeline: MondaySunday (Morning shifts) Job Summary We are urgently seeking a compassionate, female, bilingual (Polish/English) Private Caregiver to support a client with Dementia and Parkinson''s Disease. As the recipient is currently on a long-term care waitlist, we require a caregiver with specialized experience in providing high-quality comfort care during this transitional period. The ideal candidate will provide empathetic companionship, assist with daily living activities, and ensure the client''s dignity and safety are maintained at all times. Immediate interviews are being scheduled. Key Responsibilities Bilingual Companionship: Use Polish fluency to provide comfort, aid in cognitive engagement, and build a strong rapport with the client. Specialized Care: Provide tailored support for Dementia and Parkinson''s, including managing tremors, assisting with mobility challenges, and utilizing therapeutic communication. Personal Care (ADLs): Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Mobility & Safety: Provide safe transfer assistance (e.g., bed to chair) and supervised walking to prevent falls. Health Management: Ensure medications are taken on schedule and prepare simple, nutritious meals (assisting with feeding as needed). Household Support: Light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment. Shift Schedule: monday to sunday -morning shift at 9:00 am to 11:30 am Qualifications & Requirements Language: Must be fluent in Polish and English. Experience: Proven track record as a caregiver, specifically working with clients diagnosed with Dementia and Parkinson''s. Attributes: Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a warm, patient, and professional demeanor. Certification: CNA/HHA or equivalent certification is preferred, but exceptional references and demonstrated experience are essential. Logistics: Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation. Legal: Must be authorized to work and pass a comprehensive background check. Job Type: Casual Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour Work Location: In person
