Responsibilities Prepare a variety of ice cream flavours and toppings according to established recipes and standards Operate ice cream machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Serve customers with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive experience Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in compliance with food safety regulations Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and restocking supplies as needed Upsell products to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Manage multiple orders simultaneously during busy periods with effective time management Experience Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene is advantageous Experience in serving customers, ideally within a hospitality or retail setting Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portion control Kitchen or culinary experience that demonstrates familiarity with food handling and preparation techniques Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours An enthusiastic attitude towards upselling and enhancing customer satisfaction This role is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts and eager to gain hands-on experience in a lively, customer-focused environment.
