The Opportunity: We''re looking for an Assistant Controller who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and enjoys supporting multiple businesses at different stages of growth. In this role, you''ll deliver high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and operational support while contributing to process improvements and mentoring team members. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Prepare, review, and publish timely monthly financial statements for multiple clients Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with clear insights and recommendations Coordinate audit preparation and ensure compliance with internal controls and external requirements Manage client communications in alignment with Controllers and Fractional CFOs Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Develop, document, and enhance accounting policies, controls, and workflows Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and collaborate with accountants on client engagements Support onboarding and training of onshore and offshore team members Facilitate daily offshore huddles and provide ongoing mentorship Partner on process improvements and participate in hiring and performance reviews Support team engagement initiatives and meeting documentation Support AP/AR processes, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance Assist with tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance Required Qualifications University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business CPA designation preferred 3+ years of experience in progressively responsible leadership roles in Finance Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial analysis skills Confidence working directly with clients in a professional advisory capacity Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership capabilities Advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort working with cloud-based accounting systems Experience working with non-profit organizations, public sector entities, or similarly regulated organizations is an asset Why Work for Us: People-focused culture we prioritize our employees, creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and heard.
