Who you are: We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results Geotab is seeking a Data Scientist Intern who will work with the Revenue Operations team on data analysis, computer modeling, and generative AI. Your work directly impacts our actions and relationships with customers, partners, and other Geotab teams. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader - we would love to hear from you What you''ll do: As a Data Scientist Intern, your key areas of responsibility will be to assist with ad hoc data analyses, maintain & monitor predictive models, and use Geotab''s internal AI tools to assist with business needs. You will need to work closely with Geotab''s Revenue Generation Data teams and their stakeholders. To be successful in this role you will have a strong work ethic, an eagerness to jump in and help fix things, strong communication skills and a positive attitude. In addition, a successful candidate will have strong proficiency in Google workspace, confidence with SQL-based tasks, and experience with the python programming language. The successful candidate will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results. The opportunity: 8 month work-term beginning May 2026. How you''ll make an impact: Assist teammates and stakeholders with data answers to important business questions. Improve and maintain existing machine learning models. Provide useful AI analyses and automation on big business data. What you''ll bring to the role: Completing a STEM, Computer Science, Math, Business Analysis or similarly related technical degree. Confidence with tackling SQL and data analysis tasks. Experience with Python programming and machine learning. Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize patterns and change processes. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills, as well as a willingness to learn and strong work ethic. Enthusiastic, creative, self-motivated, with the ability to work with various departments across Geotab.
