OverviewJoin Our Team as a Caregiver Team Lead - Make a Real Difference Every Day! Were looking for a compassionate Personal Support Worker (PSW) to inspire and guide our caregivers while helping older adults and their families navigate aging with dignity and care.What Youll DoTravel across our territory to coach and provide quality assurance to caregivers.Support new caregiver onboarding, orientation, and client introductions.Communicate clearly with caregivers, clients, families, and office teams.Identify challenges before they become problems and recommend solutions.Maintain accurate documentation and keep HR updated on caregiver performance.Step in as a PSW in emergency situations when needed.Contribute ideas for training and development opportunities for our team.What Were Looking For5 - 8 years experience as a PSWMust understand the importance of household management and meal preparation & cooking as part of providing quality senior care.Previous supervisory experience involving mentoring and coachingValid drivers license, full-time access to a reliable car, and auto insurance.Strong communication, patience, and mentoring skills.Professionalism, discretion, and excellent judgment.Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.Computer-savvy with a willingness to learn new systems.Team-oriented mindset and ability to build positive relationships.Work ScheduleMonday to Friday, 40 hours/week with flexible start and end times.Occasional weekends as needed.EducationPersonal Support Worker CertificateInternational nursing experience, combined with hands-on, professional caregiving, will be considered an asset.License/CertificationsCurrent First Aid & CPR certificationDementia care training and experience is a strong assetGentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) training is an assetFood Handler certificate is an assetWhy Home Instead?At Home Instead, your work matters.
