What you would be working on Leading projects from early design through construction and occupancy Applying your seal and overseeing permitting and code compliance Coordinating with consultants, municipalities, and clients Staying handson in Revit for design development, detailing, and redlines Working through BC Building Code, BC Housing, and life safety requirements Taking part in design reviews and contributing to studio standards Who we are hoping to meet Registered or eligible to register with the AIBC Masters degree in Architecture from a Canadian university At least 5 years of experience with a Canadian architectural firm Experience with institutional or publicuse projects such as schools or community housing Comfortable with BC Building Code, permitting, and consultant coordination Technically solid and willing to work directly in the Revit model Calm and practical when projects get complicated Someone teammates trust for followthrough and clear communication You will likely enjoy SOA if you Say what you mean and keep people in the loop Leave ego at the door and focus on doing good work Stay steady when plans shift and help move things forward Care about the people using the buildings you design Appreciate a team that works hard but does not take itself too seriously Life at SOA We are a closeknit group that genuinely enjoys working together.
