Project Manager, Research Projects (Canadian Space Agency) Join to apply for the Project Manager, Research Projects (Canadian Space Agency) role at University of the Fraser Valley Position Summary The Project Manager, Research Projects provides project management for research projects held by the Principal Investigator of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Project. The incumbent engages with project partner organizations, contractors and service providers during the project life cycle and ensures programs and projects are executed, completed and delivered within the specified timelines. The position oversees planning, procurement, operationalization, monitoring, and financial control, ensuring the appropriate workflow procedures are in place for timely project success. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized postsecondary institution. Minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a project or program manager on externally funded research projects. Experience managing development projects and programs. Experience working with federal or provincial government partners. Excellent writing skills. Experience with budgeting processes and frameworks. Excellent interpersonal, problemsolving and communication skills. Preference for candidates with experience in ResultsBased Management, Program Implementation Plans, and GenderBased Analysis Plus. Preference for candidates with experience working with postsecondary institutions. Projects may require the incumbent to travel nationally and internationally.
