This may expand to LV strain and stress echo in the future. You will be employed by two expert echocardiographers with level 3 trainingMachine: Philips Epic machine with a 2D and pedoff probeTechnical job dutiesPerforming complete adult echocardiography studies as per the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines, including rooming and setting up the patient for the scan.Preliminary interpretation of above scans using dedicated echocardiography reporting software (studycast)Non-technical job dutiesAble to work independently and recognize echocardiographic emergencies and inform other health care professionalsFamiliarity with the echocardiography equipment to arrange inspecting, testing, and replacement of any componentsStrong interpersonal skills to engage with patients and other administrative staffRecommended QualificationsCertified by Sonography Canada as a Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) or REGISTERED DIAGNOSTIC CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER (RDCS)Diagnostic Medical Sonography diplomaCertified and to maintain active certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)Maintain Continuous Medical Education (CME) creditsPlease email with application/resume.
