The services provided will be detailed in the personalized care plan. Compass Homecare is currently recruiting for Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for the Midland Area. Responsibilities Assist clients and patients with personal care, activities of daily living, meal preparation, light housekeeping and light laundry. Accompany clients on outings, appointments, shopping, errands where applicable. Provide companionship to clients and patients. Respite for families. Daily documentation and charting in electronic chart. Qualifications Able to proficiently communicate in English (verbal and written) Ability to speak other languages is considered an asset Ability to travel to and from clients by transit or by car Personal Support Worker Certificate Previous experience working as a PSW is an asset Access to internet/mobile phone Negative TB skin test or chest xray Current CPR and First Aid Certificate Vulnerable Sector Screen Company Requirements Compass Homecare requires all employees to provide proof of full vaccination for Covid19.
