As an LPN, you will provide person-centered care, collaborate with RNs, implement wellness programs, maintain accurate records and promote health and safety practices.About The RoleAs an LPN at Baptist Housings Evergreen Community, youll embrace person-centered care, contributing to comprehensive care planning and service delivery evaluation. In this temporary role, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of care for residents during this period. Youll work closely with Registered Nurses (RNs) for complex cases and support the implementation of wellness programs under the guidance of RNs and managers.Your responsibilities will include:Conducting assessments and administering medicationsProviding wound care and other essential nursing interventionsEnsuring meticulous resident chartingUtilizing systems like Point-Click Care and EMAR to maintain accurate resident informationModeling Baptist Housings ministry values and servant leadershipPrioritizing the needs of others while fostering positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and familiesYour work location is in the seaside city of White Rock. Our Evergreen community is located at 1550 Oxford Street.Available LinesTemporary, Full-Time (FTE 1.00 - approximately 37.5 hours/week) Evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) for approximately 2 months, until incumbent returnsTemporary, Part-Time (FTE 0.936- approximately 35.2 hours/week) Evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) until August 2025Temporary, Part-Time (FTE 0.702- approximately 26.4 hours/week) Evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) for approximately 2 months, until May 2025RequirementsLicensed Practical Nurse Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institutionGood standing and membership with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)Current First Aid CertificateCurrent Food Safe CertificateAbout YouYou are a compassionate and empathetic LPN who connects with residents on a personal level, going beyond your duties to exceed their needs.
