Situated in a brand-new facility, hosting multiple exam lanes and a full upper-level living suite. We have state-of-the-art equipment including Maestro OCT, Optomap imaging, FDT, and pachymetry, as well as direct access to Medmont corneal topography/meibomianography, Humphrey visual field analyzer, and in-house lab via our sister location.Quieter, rural environment that is great for raising a family, yet a progressive community boasting many amenities including movie theatre, shopping, bowling alley, many esthetic services, yoga studio, numerous restaurants, new aquatic facility, lots of sporting and recreation opportunity, great schools, churches, cultural development, and wonderful people.ResponsibilitiesProvide full-scope family optometry with emphasis on medical-based optometry and primary care. Manage ocular urgencies and maintain clinical skills in a non-ophthalmology setting. Foster good rapport with local physicians and maintain a high level of professional, patient-centered care. Collaborate with the team and use Visual Eyes EHR system to deliver efficient eye care.Qualifications and environmentFriendly, reliable, independent, and comfortable practicing optometry to the full extent of training, ability and scope of practice in Saskatchewan.
