The Assistant Department Manager, Pharmacy is a developmental position designed to prepare the individual for the Pharmacy Manager role. Responsibilities Ensure the pharmacy meets all standards set by the provincial pharmacy regulatory body and all legislative requirements. Foster professionalism, good business practices, and a strong work ethic. Operate the pharmacy efficiently with a focus on staff productivity, staff training, team building, and payroll usage. Plan resources addressing manpower needs, staff performance standards, training, and development plans. Ensure all company directives, policies & procedures, programs and initiatives are well communicated and executed. Maintain good inventory control and measures. Build the pharmacy business and increase pharmacy sales and profit. Additional Customer Service Requirements Applicants must be able to work effectively in a fastpaced environment while providing quality, professional, courteous, and helpful customer service. Minimum Requirements Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with 23 years of pharmacy experience. Strong supervisory skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
