Our Registered Nurse Locum Program provides shortterm assignments (3 weeks to one year) working fulltime hours. You will assess, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for diverse patient populations, collaborating within multidisciplinary teams while balancing multiple priorities.Locum Incentives (pilot until Mar 31, 2026): $25/hour locum premium for hours worked. $50/day rural incentive for assignments outside Grande Prairie & Fort McMurray. Daily per diem $25.40 + meal allowance $57/day. Travel reimbursement & provided accommodation. This position is part of Health Shared Services (HSS), effective December 1, 2025. As an HSS employee in the RN/RPN Locum Program, you will provide temporary support where it is needed most across northern Albertas four new Provincial Health Agencies and AHS.
