Interior Health is hiring a term specific full-time Capital Project Advisor to support the Cariboo Memorial Hospital redevelopment project. The end date of this position is approximately March31,2027. Location: This position is located on site at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake. A valid class5BC drivers license is required as there will be some travel to project locations within the Interior Health region. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees. How will you create an impact: The Capital Project Advisor is responsible for supporting the project team in the design, construction, and operational commissioning stages of capital projects. Key Activities Include: Coordinating and organizing workflow; determining priorities; composing confidential correspondence for signature; designing and creating documents, presentations, orientation packages, and spreadsheets (including data entry) for authorization and/or approval by the management team. Coordinating small projects as needed during the design, construction and commissioning stages of the project. Discussing requests for information with a variety of internal and external contacts to obtain, organize and disclose information. Assisting with routine inquiries and complaints by determining the nature of the issues and responding with information either verbally or through written correspondence. Initiating followup actions to support the completion of the project on schedule. What Will You Work On: Supports the Director, Clinical Lead and delegates in the daytoday development and execution of the project by ensuring obligations are met and appropriate project support and administration controls are in place to monitor critical milestones and issues. Provides administrative and data support to the Director, Clinical Lead, Senior Project Manager and Project Manager regarding the project work. Establishes and maintains a network of relationships and influence in order to promote achievement of project objectives. Develops and maintains appropriate communication processes to ensure timely exchange of information with internal and external partners and other interested parties. Maintains computerized filing systems for all correspondence and administration files. Maintains materials such as decision records and procedure manuals. Provides assistance on projects by collecting data requiring the evaluation and determination of available sources. Assembles and edits reports in an appropriate format. Coordinates all administrative logistics for meetings, events, education sessions, workshops, video conferences, and teleconferences including appropriate space, equipment, and materials. Maintains the Teamsites and project folder to be used as reference by Project staff. Arranges travel, meetings, and accommodation by booking and confirming flights, vehicles, and hotel reservations. Provides input to new policies, processes, and for the development of strategies. Attends and acts as a recorder for confidential meetings such as management meetings. Transcribes minutes and distributes accordingly. Follows up on action items as required, prepares agendas, and circulates necessary materials for meetings. Ensures appropriate supplies and support materials are available and equipment is in working order. Performs other duties as requested by the Director, Clinical Lead, Senior Project Manager, and Project Manager. In alignment with IHs Occupational Health & Safety Program, employees shall adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times and attend all required training. Employees are responsible to report any identified hazards, unsafe conditions or incidents to the manager or supervisor immediately. Performs other related duties as assigned.
