Lecturer, Gateway Team-Based Care Teaching Clinic-3 The School of Nursing at University of British Columbia Vancouver campus invites applications for up to three nontenure track faculty positions at the rank of Lecturer. These positions will be between 0.60 and 1.0 fulltime equivalents (FTE). The initial appointment will be for a oneyear term with the possibility of reappointment subject to demonstrated excellence in teaching. The position is also expected to engage in clinical supervision and service contributions to advance collaborative health education, practice or quality improvement. Position Summary The successful applicant will contribute to the assessment and evaluation of learners in the clinical setting of the Gateway TeamBased Care Teaching Clinic, working with students from nursing and other health professional programs. The incumbent will engage in clinical teaching and, possibly, some lecturing through a variety of instructional methods, such as the occasional guest speaker or workshop facilitator. This role will require onsite work at the Gateway Clinic alongside an interdisciplinary team of health professionals. The anticipated start date is March16,2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. Responsibilities Engage in clinical teaching and supervision of nurse practitioner students in a primary care setting. Provide or facilitate group learning, workshops, or guestspeaker sessions for interprofessional education. Contribute to qualityimprovement initiatives, scholarly activities, and evaluation of collaborative healtheducation programmes and teambased practices at the Gateway Clinic. Help develop and implement clinical practices and educational strategies as the clinic is newly developing. Participate in service contributions to advance collaborative health education, practice, and quality improvement. Qualifications Currently credentialed as a practising Nurse Practitioner with a Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing. Registration as an NP with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Experience teaching nurse practitioner students or providing direct clinical supervision in primary care practice. Experience in group learning facilitation, interprofessional education, and teambased care preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead or participate in scholarly activities, qualityimprovement initiatives, and evaluation of collaborative health programmes. Salary and Benefits The expected salary range for this Lecturer position is $130,000/yr to $140,000/yr, plus benefits, at 1.0FTE (prorated based on actual FTE).
