ILS Project Specialist II Seaspan ULC Job Description The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist II reports to the Supervisor, Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), and creates all required analysis in support of the Logistic Support Analysis function. The ILS Specialist II is responsible for providing the ILS Project Manager with the products related to the development of LSA. The ILS Specialist II performs the functions by partaking and guiding the design process of the products relevant to maintainability, reliability, testability and optimize Life Cycle Costs (LCC) through the definition of required resources to support the product during in-service operation. Note: This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employees will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement. V7P 3S1 What You'll Do Perform Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) analyses, including but not limited to Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), reliability analysis, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), maintenance task analysis, sparing analysis, life cycle cost analysis, etc. Collaborate with and support design engineering with the results of the RAM analysis. Collaborate with Supply Chain to make sure suppliers meet the required ILS requirements. Validate suppliers data for adequacy and accuracy. Use engineering judgement to draw conclusions and make decisions. Apply relevant regulations, industry and discipline standards. Write technical reports. Support development of maintenance manuals, spare parts lists, and provisioning data. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Other duties as required by the Supervisor, LSA. What You'll Bring Bachelors degree in engineering required, with a preference for Masters degree specializing in engineering. 5 years of project management or logistics experience in shipbuilding, defense, aviation, rail or automotive industry is highly desirable. Experience in ILS, RAMS and/or other Systems Engineering elements required. Experience writing technical reports, incorporating related data, required. Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative. Systematic thinking. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with industry standards for analysis, such as FMEA, etc. Data recording and management. Solid time management skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Intellectual curiosity, seeking opportunities to develop new skills. The Candidate must hold or be eligible to obtain Reliability status and access to Controlled Goods.
