In this capacity, you will be a key member of the warehouse team responsible for ensuring the overall success of warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, inventory control, storage, replenishment, packing, staging, shipping, and maintaining a safe and lean work environment. You will also work closely with your peers in Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics to ensure efficient warehouse operations, and seamless information flow through SAP.How you might spend your daysPerforming daily warehouse activities such as receiving, inspecting and storing materials, items, and products to ensure they are sorted, labeled, and stored properly and in compliance with AbCelleras standards and policiesLoading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper documentation and handlingHandling order-picking, packing, and staging activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillmentAppropriately transporting the shipment of goods, accurately preparing bills of lading, and ensuring proper packaging of goodsSafely operating equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, battery charging equipment, pallet wrappers, pallet changers, compactors, dock levelers, etc.Utilizing several devices such as Radio frequency technology (RFID), scanners, and others to read barcodes and transfer product information, quantities and location information directly into our warehouse management systemPerforming regular inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating replenishment activities to avoid shortagesProcessing production orders and delivering on timeIdentifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce wasteWed love to hear from you ifYou hold a high school diploma or equivalent and an associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related fieldYou have proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a similar roleYou have experience in a GMP/GDP environmentYou have a strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, and warehouse processesYou have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a teamYou have experience in SAP or similar ERP systemsYou are physically able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods, including lifting and standingYou are comfortable working in a warehouse environment, including exposure to varying temperatures (e.g., cold room from 2 to 8 C)You are available to work shifts, including occasional evenings and weekendsYou hold a Forklift certification or are able to obtain oneWhat we offerAbCelleras hiring range for this role is CAD $54,500 - $68,000 annually, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we offer equity, annual bonus dependent on team and company performance, and a 6% (non-match) RRSP contribution.You will have a CAD $1,500 annual Active Lifestyle Allowance, annual vacation, professional development opportunities, and comprehensive health benefits.
