Job Description

We are recruiting a Project Coordinator to join our team at the BHP Jansen Potash Mine in Jansen, SK. This position is based on a 14/7 rotation and is camp-based at the Jansen Discovery Lodge. The Project Coordinator assists the Project Manager by providing administrative support to ensure that project specifications, budgets, and timelines are met efficiently. Responsibilities Ensure project deadlines are met in a timely manner. Assist in planning, organizing, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget. Ensure clients' needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. Provide support in planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones and monitoring progress against established schedules. Assist in the preparation of contracts and negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with clients and subcontractors. Ensure project adheres to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project. Assist in the preparation of progress reports and issuing progress schedules to clients. Support with recruitment and management of project staff and contractors. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and/or equivalent experience in civil or mechanical construction in the oil & gas industry may be considered. Experience coordinating a single large project or several projects simultaneously. Working knowledge of contracts and contract management. Experience managing Unit Rate, Lump Sum and T&M Contracts projects. Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize various tasks with conflicting deadlines. Ability to adapt to changing environments and timelines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced computer skills including Microsoft word, Excel, and scheduling software (MS Projects, P6, Excel). Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada. Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis. Travel & Schedule Willing to travel and stay in camp accommodation.
