Social Science Teacher / Enseignante dHistoireGographie (20262027) Fulltime position at TFS Canadas International School (Toronto French School), Toronto campus, 318 Lawrence Avenue East. Position type: Full time. Language of instruction: French. Start date: September 2026. Reporting to the Principal or delegate. Responsibilities Create a supportive learning environment that helps students meet their learning goals. Understand the diverse needs of all student groups. Use appropriate study materials and resources that promote active learning and motivate students. Track and oversee student progress and provide useful feedback. Plan course material and activities. Build trusting relationships with students, parents, and other staff. Qualifications Excellent French and English skills (oral and written). Certified teacher (OCT or equivalent) with a degree in education (B.Ed. or M.Ed.). Proficiency in French as primary language; English conversation level B2 or better. Good knowledge of the French curriculum. Experience as a Social Science (HistoryGeography) teacher. Knowledge of International Baccalaureate (IB) and Ontario programs (asset).
