The incumbent will be responsible to ensure the home and the children receive the proper care and attention and follow the plan set forth for the home to foster the holistic development of all children in the highest possible regard.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the proper preparation of meals as per menuPrepare a weekly/biweekly grocery list and menuEffectively accounting and handling bank cards and petty cashEnsure cleaning and maintenance of the premises as per scheduleEnsure the accuracy of daily logsPurchase day-to-day items needed for day-to-day operations of the homeAttend/conduct monthly staff meetings and make staff shift schedulesEnsure proper and timely reportingCoordinate and communicate with ministry workers for visits and relevant information sharingMaintain professionalism and confidentiality of staff and childrens informationEnsure all children medication is administered timelyEnsure children pick up and drop off for daily activitiesEnsure the children have proper clothing and school suppliesEnsure all forms from school/daycare that need to be signed by a Ministry WorkerQualifications / CertificationsFormal Education: Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., Early Childhood Education or Social Work Diploma) is considered an assetCPR/First Aid is requiredTraining in behavioral and crisis management is an assetSupervisory and/or management experienceExperience working with children with varying behaviors is an assetOther InformationAll successful candidates must have a positive report from a criminal record check under the vulnerable sectorPossession of a Class 5 driving license will be an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
