The Opportunity Innovate and Lead In this role, youll be at the forefront of commercial strategy for transformative transportation projects. From rail & transit, to marine, ports, and aviation, youll shape agreements that drive success and sustainability. Reporting to the Director, Commercial & Risk Management, youll collaborate with senior leadership and project teams to deliver commercial excellence on major infrastructure initiatives. Your Impact Manage and negotiate complex contractual agreements for rail, transit, ports, marine coastal, aviation, and fleet projects. Provide strategic commercial oversight to ensure corporate and project objectives are achieved. Draft, review, and administer agreements including teaming, joint ventures, and subconsultant contracts. Support bid teams with risk reviews, commercial strategy, and internal approvals for major proposals. Lead negotiations on high-profile projects and guide teams through critical commercial decisions. Mentor junior team members and contribute to developing best practices in commercial management. The Skills That Set You Apart 510+ years of experience in commercial or contract management within transportation or infrastructure sectors. Postsecondary education in project management, construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, finance, or business. Proven expertise in DesignBidBuild (DBB) and DesignBuild (DB) delivery models. Ability to navigate complex negotiations and deliver outcomes aligned with business objectives. Strong understanding of risk management principles and commercial governance processes. Adaptability to manage deadlines, ambiguity, and competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Compensation Salary range (in British Columbia): $124,800 - $171,600. The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
