The OR could be your next calling!Providence Health Care, in partnership with BCIT, is offering fully funded perioperative education for nurses interested in a career in the Operating Room (OR). This includes:100% coverage of tuition and textbooksPaid wages at 100% of the posted FTE for eligbile program components.Upon completing the program, you will receive a Perioperative Nursing Certificate (AORN) and begin working as an OR Registered Nurse at St. Paul's Hospital. Please note: participants in the program must commit to 18 months of full-time sevice with PHC after completing the program.BCIT Perioperative ProgramPhase 1: TheoryPre-requisite courses by distance (Unpaid).Completed online.April 1st to June 26th, 2026PHC Orientation:New Employee and General Nursing Orientation (Paid).Held onsite at St. Paul's Hospital.August 10th to August 14th, 2026Phase 2: Compressed Time Frame (CTF)Classroom/Clinical (Paid).Delivered at BCIT and St. Paul's Hospital.August 24th to December 11th, 2026As a Staff Nurse, youll be at the forefront of patient care, working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure patients/residents receive comprehensive support.
