Description Support Exploration Behind the Scenes Join IAMGOLD as a Part-Time Administrative Assistant (3 Days per week). IAMGOLD is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Assistant to support its exploration team in Chibougamau. This part-time role is locally based and involves working three days per week. It is offered as a one-year fixed-term contract and provides essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our exploration activities. Location: Chibougamau (Office) 533 Rte QC-167 S, Chibougamau, QC, G8P 2Y6 In this role, youll assist with weekly invoicing, expense tracking, and purchasing site supplies. Youll help maintain accurate records through data entry in Excel and support the team by organizing and backing up documents between the site and the regional office. Your work will help ensure that our exploration activities are well-coordinated and compliant with internal and external standards. Youll be part of a small, collaborative office environment that supports field operations. While the tasks are clearly defined, your ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and communicate effectively will make a big impact. Youll work independently during scheduled hours, with guidance available when needed, and contribute to a positive and professional workplace culture. Safety is a shared responsibility, and youll play a role in maintaining accurate safety documentation and supporting a proactive approach to health and safety practices. Whether scanning documents or coordinating with field teams, your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help keep our operations efficient and compliant. Job Qualifications To succeed in this role, youll need a high school diploma or equivalent, basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office software, and a valid Quebec drivers license. Experience in an administrative role is preferred, and familiarity with exploration or field-based environments is an asset. First Aid and CPR certification is also helpful.
