With offices across Canada, the US, and Mexico, we continue to grow.About the RoleAllnorths Vancouver Team is currently looking for a Project Manager to support our growing Metals & Minerals team. As the successful candidate, you will lead a wide variety of projects ranging from evaluations, designs and onsite mine support services. You will work with technical experts to deliver innovative, valueadded solutions within set schedules and budgets, supported by Allnorths corporate project management standards.ResponsibilitiesManaging a variety of projects within the Mining & Minerals sector, including:Interfacing directly with clients, team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectationsWorking with technical teams to generate proposals and project estimatesTracking project financials, schedules, status, and change managementEnsuring completion of work within allotted schedules and budgets to high quality standardsCreating project plans that include schedules, milestones, controls, and risk management plansSupporting safety planning for Allnorth teamsResolving performance, scope, and schedule issues as they ariseBuilding business relationships with current and potential clientsSeeking continuous improvement opportunities to positively impact project and team performanceEstablishing and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals at all levels, both internal and external to AllnorthAssisting with the management of projects within other sectors that Allnorth serves, as applicableProviding mentorship to early careerstage project managers and project coordinatorsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in a miningrelated engineering field or commensurate experience with technical mining projects8+ years of relevant experience within the Minerals & Metals sectorPMP certification or formal project management training is considered an assetExperience leading teams of engineering and design experts within a multidisciplined environmentStrong technical writing skills demonstrated through preparation of correspondence, reports, and proposalsEffective verbal communication, including presentation, facilitation, and listening skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and qualityResultsoriented with the capacity to manage multiple competing priorities and timelinesSuperior analytical, problemsolving, audit, and investigation skillsProven ability to collaborate with team members and clients in a multidisciplined environmentExperience with project development and execution in the Minerals & Metals sectorRegistered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in British Columbia is considered an assetBenefitsFlexible work schedule and location (fulltime 40hour week)Comprehensive benefits package including extended health and dental coverage and RRSP matchingEmployee Assistance Program for team members and their familiesA culture of respect and inclusivity fostering strong relationships and a team atmosphereProfessional development and growth opportunitiesTeam member referral program recruiting incentivesMonthly Lunch & Learn sessionsOpportunities to bond with other team members through social and safety committees, fundraising, and community support initiatives (e.g., Movember, Pi Day, Food Banks, Womens Shelters, Ronald McDonald House, Earth Day cleanups)Allnorth is an equalopportunity employer.
