You will have the support of an experienced Canadian team and a sizeable group of technical specialists in Australia. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of highquality outcomes for mining regulatory permitting projects in a Project Director capacity across multiple jurisdictions, initially focusing on British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. Grow and elevate a highperforming team of environmental professionals through coaching, mentorship, and hiring strategy. Influence and contribute to business strategy to grow EMMs mining permitting practice across Canada, working closely with Canadian and Australian Mining Market Leads. Build awareness of EMMs expertise through industry engagement, client relationships and representing EMM at Canadian mining conferences, adopting a sellerdoer model. Focus exclusively on environmental projects where we can make a positive difference and deliver quality outcomes. Desired Qualifications and Experience Bachelors or Masters degree in an environmentally related field. At least 20 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior technical role related to regulatory permitting for mining projects. Demonstrated leadership and deep expertise in regulatory permitting requirements, managing multidisciplinary projects across multiple Canadian jurisdictions. Strong, trusted relationships with clients in the mining and minerals sector, with a track record of driving innovation and highquality outcomes. Established relationships with government agencies and regulators. A strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, paired with a passion for mentoring and team development.
