About The Role The Plant Manager is accountable for the leadership, development & management of all functions of the Quarry. The Plant Manager will ensure lean staffing and oversee safe production to enable plant productivity and maintenance in an efficient manner, while producing quality products for clients. The primary focus will be on safety and optimizing available reserves and capital employed while maximizing productivity at the lowest cost of production. What Were Looking For Education: University Degree Field of Study Preferred: Business, Mining, or Engineering Required Work Experience: 5 years of proven operational and supervisory experience Required Technical Skills: MS Office, Google Suite, SAP Travel Requirements: 5% Additional Requirements Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Must be able to analyze financial statements and make recommendations Strong communication, negotiation and change management skills Prior work experience in a unionized environment Ability to foster and grow a strong safety culture High energy positive leader with ability to influence high performing teams Independent thinker High capacity of working under pressure and stress Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.
