Responsibilities Be able to comprehend blueprint readings and prepare layouts Understand industrial concrete forming, be able to build concrete forms, and other structures Complete rough and finishing carpentry tasks, while utilizing appropriate math skills Check completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location Perform other related duties as assigned Preference will be given to a JourneypersonCarpenter Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority or be a Registered Carpenter Apprentice Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade Fall Protection and Confined Space is an asset Ability to coach, mentor and train apprentices Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY With a significant presence in the construction, industrial maintenance, and turnaround sectors, Jardeg is the largest recruiter of skilled trades in Canada.
