OverviewFraser Health is seeking physicians interested in working at Burnaby Hospital effective July 1, 2025. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible to provide services including admission and management as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for otherwise unattached patients, as well as supportive care for surgical, medical specialty and psychiatric patients. The Hospitalist Program at Burnaby is a well-established program with physicians who are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Responsibilities Provide admission and management as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for otherwise unattached patients Provide supportive care for surgical, medical specialty and psychiatric patients Work collaboratively with all members of the inter-professional team, including physicians, nurses and allied health staff Contribute to the Hospitalist program and participate in committee and administrative work Participate in shifts: intake shifts in the ER, evenings, weekends and night shifts are mandatory and shared equally Maintain continuity of care; weekend work is approximately 1 in 3 Qualifications ACLS CCFP CMPA CPSBC Full Location Burnaby Hospital Application details Please upload letters of interest, a copy of your CV and three referee names.
