Ultimately, EllisDons purpose is to provide people with similar values the opportunity to achieve to their full potential; to deliver that opportunity for great careers to one another; and to contribute meaningfully to the community we share with others.Please Note: this role will be based on site in Port Colborne, ON.You as an Assistant Project Manager will:Assist in plan and specification analysis in order to provide clear, trackable and coordinated interpretations of the design/drawings for constructionPreparation of project deliverables including tracking and creating of RFIs, transmitting and tracking of submittals, composing agreements and maintaining project expediting listDevelop, implement and monitor the construction schedule to deliver the project on time and under budgetAdministration and management of subcontracts including subcontractor compliance, tracking of changes and deliverablesAdvise Construction Manager and Project Manager of potential problems, work interferences and schedule difficulties and assist in resolving issueIs this the right role for you?You have a construction related degree and a minimum of three years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experienceWorking knowledge of scheduling, project management and contract softwareAbility to support the project team and help overcome problematic situationsGo ahead and be yourself.
