We are looking for a Service Shift Manager/Foreman (Evening) to join our fast-paced, energetic dealership inSwift Current, SK to oversee the PDI evening shift team, and repair evening shift in the future.In this role you will manage, coordinate, and direct the workload of the Service Department for maximum efficiency and productivity with commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers. In one of Canadas top John Deere dealer organizations you will help deliver quality work in a friendly and collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth.ResponsibilitiesAssign/schedule all service department jobs for technicians based on their skills/knowledgeMotivate, inspire, and assist new and existing employees in their pursuit of excellence through coaching, training, and developmentOptimize shop efficiency and flow to avoid lost billable hoursEnsure effective communication and follow up with customers and employeesIdentify opportunities for process improvement and training opportunitiesProvide back up support for Service Business Manager in their absence and during peak seasonsDirect/assist employees in diagnosis/troubleshooting of machine problemsPerform final checks/approvals on equipment before start of work orderProvide exceptional customer service consistently above standardsAssist service support staff in quoting repairs and maintaining accurate recordsBuild effective and productive team dynamics with all internal departmentsConduct safety meetings, encourage safe working habitsRequirementsAbility to operate vehicles/equipment used for diagnostic purposes5+ years performing complex service repairs/maintenanceAbility to lift at least 40 lbs repeatedly; 40-75 lbs on occasion.Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, and holidaysValid drivers license requiredExpert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of ag/turf equipmentAbility to use current business systems, working knowledge of computer functions and use.CONNECT with us today!Whether you're new to this field or experienced in other related fields, we offer continued education and training to help you thrive and expand your knowledge!
