Promote the individual research interests of faculty and drive collective research endeavors such as prospective outcomes of research. Ensure topquality education for clinical fellows and residents together with faculty coordinators. Build upon a culture of quality and safety. Provide direct clinical care. Demonstrate clinical excellence and foster a culture of safety. Qualifications MD, MBBS or equivalent, board certified in otolaryngologyhead and neck surgery, eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Proficient in English; obtain an appropriate visa if applicable. Established surgeon with an international reputation. Academic position as an OHNS scientist/investigator or teacher, eligible for fulltime clinical academic appointment at the rank of associate or full professor at the University of Toronto. Proven strong administrative and leadership skills. Record of peerreviewed research. Experience in undergraduate, postgraduate, fellowship, Continuing Medical Education, or patient education. Demonstrated ability in mentorship, dispute resolution, communication, and collaborative leadership. Compensation and Benefits The role offers a competitive compensation package that includes base salary funded through the Alternate Funding Plan arrangement with the Ministry of Health and LongTerm Care, partial feeforservice funds, and an annual stipend recognizing the administrative leadership responsibilities.
