Job Description Deliver prescribed physiotherapy and occupational therapy interventions under the direction of a supervising therapist. Assist clients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and activities of daily living (ADL) retraining. Utilize assistive devices and adaptive equipment to support client independence and safety. Monitor and document clients progress and report changes to the supervising PT/OT. Provide education to clients and caregivers on exercises, equipment usage, and strategies for maintaining independence. Complete documentation as required. Regularly assess the patients surroundings to ensure a safe home environment. Qualifications Certificate or Diploma in the Occupational Therapist Assistant or Physiotherapy Assistant Program from a recognized community college program registered with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities or equivalent in training and experience. Current police check for work with the vulnerable sector. Additional languages are an asset. Valid G2/G drivers license and thirdparty insurance coverage maintained at $1,000,000.00 and access to a reliable vehicle.
