The new Regional Cardiac Revascularization Program provides residents of the British Columbia Interior with the cardiac care they need, right here in the heart of the Okanagan Valley.Our CICU is a 6 bed vented unit and we care for critically ill MIs, heart failure and pre-op cardiac surgery patients.The Cardiac Surgery program opened in December 2012 with 6 CSICU beds and has expanded with the opening of the Interior Heart and Surgical Centre at Kelowna General Hospital. Our department provides an exceptional professional environment for critical care nursing and our nurses have excellent clinical and communication skills, a high commitment to professionalism and commitment as team players. We have a future of unparalleled opportunity for professional growth.Cardiac Catheterization and the Electrophysiology Lab Admitting Bay is another Cardiac Service offered at the Kelowna General Hospital.
