Join to apply for the Beauty Boutique Expert role at Shoppers Drug Mart. You will help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, keeping the customer at the centre of everything you do. Why this role is important? To maximize sales of beauty products and services at Shoppers Drug Mart. Duties & Responsibilities Exceed sales expectations and maximize sales and awareness of promotional programs. Maintain a selling is fun attitude and promote beauty products. Encourage customers to participate in the PC Optimum program. Customer Service Promote a positive environment for customers and coworkers. Always put the customer first and provide superior customer service. Actively model desired behavior with eClienteling to provide superior customer service. Promote products through marketing and encourage use of the PC Optimum program. Actively promote and book appointments for instore events. Operations Exhibit and promote the companys products and services. Attend appropriate vendor schools. Attend workshop/education sessions. Adhere to Cosmetics Operating Standards. General Comply with all health and safety regulations. Comply with all store policies and procedures. Comply with loss prevention policies and procedures and ensure they are executed in the department. Act professionally at all times. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Strong planning, judgment and decisionmaking abilities. Independent thinking and decisionmaking. Excellent selling skills in cosmetics/luxury goods. Experience Proven consultative skills to provide information. Selling experience with a proven track record. Good knowledge of various beauty products and services available. Ability to conduct sitdown makeup and skincare consultations and demonstrate application. Strong communication skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladder.
