Job Description

Overview PT Grade 1/2 Teacher Traditional Learning Academy School, Coquitlam, an independent Catholic school, is accepting applications for a fulltime elementary generalist teacher for Grade One/Two, commencing September 1, 2025. The successful applicant will deliver the established program of studies to students according to the BC Curriculum, uphold school standards and guidelines, and support extracurricular activities. He or she must be capable of teaching Catholic religion and hold valid BC Teaching certification, or be eligible to apply for a subject or school restricted certificate, or a Letter of Permission. Responsibilities Deliver the established program of studies to students according to the BC Curriculum. Carrying out unit and course planning. Uphold the standards and guidelines established by the school. Participate in and/or support extracurricular activities of the school. Supervise students during non-classroom time. Teach Catholic religion as required. Qualifications Valid BC Teaching certification, or eligible to receive a valid BC teaching certificate (subject or school restricted), or a Letter of Permission.
